Book for Sale!

The day has arrived! Your Religion Is False is finally available for purchase!

Of course you should go and buy as many copies as you can afford, and then you should tell your friends to do the same, and their friends, and their friends.

However, I recognize that it might be a sleepless two nights while you wait for Prime Shipping to deliver the book to your doorstep. I can help with that too!

First, the Preface (what used to be called the “Introduction”) is still available for your reading pleasure. And I’ve also posted the entire Table of Contents, complete with representative excerpts from all 91 chapters.

As a bonus, you can stare at the cover art, “Weekend At Jesus’s.”

But don’t stare too long! Go purchase! Tell your friends! Blog! Twitter! Become a Facebook Fan. Spread the word! Did I mention purchase?

  2. Joel says:

I am working really hard on the Kindle version, but hand-coding HTML is a huge pain.

  3. kelly cree says:

i had no idea making the kindle version was so annoying…

    buuuuut i dont have a kindle :p

would you ever do an ebook or audio?

not sure about your relationship with your publisher but could be another revenue stream.

  4. Joel says:

    What’s your preferred ebook format/store?

  5. kelly cree says:

i’m pretty sure you can actually do it through amazon- there are a few others.

    maybe i-tunes?

personally, i would do it myself so those f*cks didn’t get any of my money. you can do it from your site.

  6. JohnF says:

I’m not really surprised you didn’t go with artwork blaspheming Mohammed instead of Jesus.

  7. Nick says:

I might just have to order this through the university book store.

  8. El Guerrero del Interfaz says:

JohnF, I don’t either as it’s written by somebody who is from a country where Christianism is the dominant religion.

Just like it did not surprised me that Salman Rushdie’s satanic verses were about Mahoma and Islam.

As for the “blasphem” bit, it’s so old fashionned and tacky.

  9. Joel says:

We discussed a Mohammed cover, but it turns out that

    * There aren’t any Andrew McCarthy movies that parallel the life of Mohammed. (The closest is probably Class, and that’s a stretch.)

    * There’s not much Renaissance art to build from.

Congratulations and good luck with your publishing venture! Found you through ‘Other’; you’ve got a good friend in him.

I’ll be doing my own pub project in the fall, and I’d love to hear in your blog how you make out.
